A/Prof Andre Renzaho wins Best Academic Achievement award

GHSU's Associate Professor Andre Renzaho has won the Best Academic Achievement award at the inaugural Victorian African Community Awards, organised by the Africa Media Australia Ltd and Partners.The awards are designed to recognise the work and dedication of people and organisations who make a difference in the lives of the broader African Australian community.

A/Prof Renzaho has had a variety of work published this year, including a study showing more than half of Sudanese migrants are overweight within four years of arriving in Australia, and research demonstrating that there are higher levels of medical mistrust amongst African migrants.
