Lancet’s New Voices in Global Health submissions are now being accepted

The annual call for the Lancet’s New Voices in Global Health has been released and Monash researchers are encouraged to apply. The New Voices in Global Health (NVGH) program enables researchers to present their work at the World Health Summit in Berlin, October 19 - 22, 2014. The program, organised by the M8 Alliance in partnership with The Lancet, is designed to highlight important research, policy and advocacy initiatives of new and future leaders in global health, and empower participants with global health advocacy skills.

To increase the chances in the New Voices Program, it is noted topics should be directly related to “Global Health“. Public health issues are favoured over specific Biomedical Research. According to M8, and The Lancet, the abstracts will be checked for 1. Originality 2. Validity and 3. Relevance for Global Health.

Abstracts for the program should be submitted online no later than June 25, 2014.
