SPHPM Special Seminar – Thursday 6 May 2015

SPHPM is hosting a special seminar tomorrow:

Guest Speaker: Dr Kazutaka Kogi
President of the International Commission on Occupational Health (ICOH)


'The International Commission on Occupational Health - aims, history and achievements'

Dr Kogi is a medical graduate from Japan with a Doctorate in Medical Science. He worked for several years in a number of senior roles at the International Labour Office (ILO), including Director Working Conditions and Environment Department, Chief Occupational Safety and Health Branch and regional Advisor for Asia and the Pacific. He has interests in participatory ergonomics; low-cost interventions in OH, the assessment of fatigue, shift work and the provision of occupational health services. He is also a prolific maker of origami. Dr Kogi will talk about the aims, history and achievements of ICOH.
