SPHPM researchers triumph at the Vice-Chancellor’s Awards

SPHPM congratulates Professor Helena Teede and Dr Basia Diug for their Vice-Chancellor’s Awards for Excellence in Postgraduate Supervision and Teaching Excellence.

The exceptional achievements of Monash academics were celebrated at the Vice-Chancellor’s Education and Research Awards Program ceremony last week.

President and Vice-Chancellor Professor Margaret Gardner AO presented the Excellence Awards to researchers and educators whose leadership, innovation and commitment have made an outstanding contribution to the University’s teaching and research programs.

The award winners were praised for their commitment to providing practical, field-based experiences to students, improving their employability and equipping them with advantageous life skills.

“On behalf of SPHPM I would like to congratulate Professor Helena Teede and Dr Basia Diug for their achievements and also thank them for their great contribution to public health practice and innovation, making them well and truly worthy of the Vice-Chancellor’s Award,” Professor John McNeil, Head of SPHPM SAID.
